Alan Tinch joins Benchmark Breeding & Genetics
Based out of Edinburgh, Alan will be responsible for developing our technical support platform across a portfolio of aquaculture species. The newly created role will accelerate Benchmark’s breeding and genetics offering by providing proactive, evidence-based support to help our customers optimise results.
Alan Tinch who studied Genetics at University of Edinburgh and the Roslin Institute brings over 28 years’ experience in commercial breeding programmes and technical support across a number of species including salmonids, pigs and broiler chickens. He joins the team from Hendrix Genetics, having previously worked at JSR Genetics and Aviagen.
